Miniaturized Wearable Fractal Patch Antenna for Body Area Network Applications

چکیده
This article presents the design of a miniaturized wearable patch antenna to be utilized for body area network (BAN) applications. To reduce size crown fractal geometry technique has been adopted, and which resulted in reduction 26.85%. Further, polyester cloth has used as substrate make proposed flexible one, suitable biomedical devices. The designed functions 2.45 GHz ISM band gain bandwidth 4.54 dB 131 MHz respectively, covering entire band. characteristics like return loss (S 11 ), directivity radiation pattern have simulated analyzed. Specific absorption rate (SAR) and front back ratio (FBR) at human tissue model (HBTM) planer different bending conditions also analyzed, fulfils desired standards.
